About People Search
The online people search searches the University's official directory to find addresses, phone numbers and personal web pages. Please note the following details about this search option:
- The online people search only lists users with campus computer/email accounts. Current students, faculty or staff may obtain accounts at a Computer Services open-access computer lab.
If students need to change their information, they may visit Carrington 202 or My Missouri State.
If faculty/staff members need to change their information, they should contact the Human Resources Office.
To make their entire academic record non-disclosable, students must file a FERPA hold through the Office of the Registrar. Alternatively, students may request their information be excluded from the online people search or printed directory.

It may take up to 24 hours for updates to display in the online people search. The student part of the directory is updated each morning at 5:30 AM, and the faculty and staff part of the directory is updated each morning at 4 AM. FERPA holds for students are processed Tuesday-Saturday at 6 AM.
