Art Annex

The Art Annex, which until a renovation in the summer of 1989, was the original building that was brought here from Camp Crowder in Neosho shortly after World War II. It is located at 1045 E. Grand and was originally intended to be used as a "temporary" building for industrial education. This arrangement, however, stood until 1975. It is the location for many of the studio art classes offered at Missouri State as well as the foundation art classes. It contains a large workshop for sculpture and three-dimensional design, as well as extensive studio space for drawing and painting. A Macintosh Lab is available on the second floor. Student work is displayed on the first floor of the annex throughout the year.
