Karls Hall, located at 950 Carrington Avenue, was built in 1958 and named in honor of Dr. Glenn Karls, longtime head of the Agriculture Department. In addition to being an office and classroom building, Karls Hall also has an agriculture research and demonstration center. A $4.9 million renovation provided Karls Hall with a 24,000 square-foot addition with remodeled administrative offices and newly equipped classrooms, including two technology-equipped auditoriums, which seat 80 and 110 students, and a distance-learning classroom. The auditoriums will benefit the community by allowing more people to participate in presentations and clinics. In addition, the third-level roof area now houses a greenhouse complex.
