Pummill Hall, named in honor of Dr. Lawrence E. Pummill, former head of the Department of Mathematics, is located directly to the south of Carrington Hall at 930 Carrington Avenue. Pummill Hall was built as a classroom building in 1957 on the site where the Music Cottage used to stand. Pummill Hall was once the home of the Mathematics Department.
