Wells House is located at 1132 East Madison and named in honor of N. Bertha Wells, Missouri State's Dean of Women from 1918 to 1955. Wells House, our very first residence hall, recently completed an extensive 14-month renovation project and currently houses 490 men and women. This U-shaped, centrally located, air-conditioned, smoke- and tobacco-free residence hall is designed with 2- and 3-person room-style accommodations, as well as 4-person suite-style accommodations, all on single-gender floors.
