Dr. Williams is exploring the manifestation of metabolic syndrome and the litany of associated preventable disease states. Particularly, accurate identification and usage of noninvasive, high-compliant, identifiers and interventions in the combat of metabolic syndrome. The aim of his research is further the knowledge and implementations of tools ranging from cell and molecular biomarkers to low-cost, high-compliant, noninvasive interventions to identify and combat the growing prevalence of type-2 diabetes, obesity, and associated cardiovascular functional problems.
