Dr. Clydette Alsup-Egbers is associate professor of environmental plant science at Missouri State University. She has taught vegetable production yearly at Missouri State for nearly 20 years. She has a farm near Springfield, Missouri, and grows a wide variety of fruits and vegetables in raised beds, containers and in the ground, wanting to experience first-hand what she teaches and wanting to discover the ‘best’ tasting varieties of each kind of produce to have answers for when people ask what tastes best.
