Research and professional interests

Guy B. Webb, Professor, has been Coordinator of Choral Studies at Missouri State since 1980. He previously taught at the University of Florida, State University of New York, Cortland, and NewMexico State University. His degrees are from the Juillard School, Columbia University, and the University of Illinois, where he received a DMA degree in choral conducting.

Dr. Webb is editor and author of Up Front: Becoming the Complete Choral Director, recently published by the ECS Publishing Company in Boston, MA. At Missouri State he conducts the choirs, teaches choral-related courses such as conducting and choral literature, and is faculty advisor for the active ACDA Student Chapter on campus.  He continues to be an active member of the American Choral Directors Association.
