
Dr. Ferdous Ahmmed is an assistant professor of financial planning in the Department of Finance, Economics and Risk Management at Missouri State University. His research focuses on personal financial planning, with particular interest in retirement savings, financial literacy, consumer behavior and financial decision making. He has presented his work at national conferences and published in peer-reviewed journals.
He teaches financial planning courses, including Fundamentals of Financial Planning and Capstone in Financial Planning. Prior to his academic career, he worked in financial services industry.
