Research and professional interests

My research generally focuses on the behavioural ecology of fish. I have three main research focuses: 1) laboratory studies of behavioural ecology that focus on individual behaviour (i.e., personality), 2) applied behavioural research with a focus on conservation (i.e., conservation behaviour), and 3) collaborative research with Indigenous communities that focuses on combining scientific and traditional knowledge to benefit conservation (i.e., two-eyed seeing).
