Dr. Cahoj is a Geriatric Clinical Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists. She currently practices in home health and long-term care settings. She has taken a leadership role in the department in the area of integrating service learning into the curriculum through participation with a variety of Community Partners via Citizenship and Service-Learning (CASL) at Missouri State University.

Research and professional interests

At Missouri State University, Dr. Cahoj serves as Interim Director of Clinical Education and directs the six Clinical Education courses. She supervises student research activities and has published in the Journal of Geriatric Physical Therapy, "Efficacy of percutaneous vertebral augmentation and use of physical therapy intervention following vertebral compression fractures in older adults: a systematic review."
