Research and professional interests

Sara Zandi's graduate work focused on the history and politics of Iran in the interwar period. Her thesis looked at Pan-Iranist ideology within the dynamics of tribe-state relations with the Kurdish tribes of northwestern Iran and southeastern Turkey.
